We had Christmas with our youth group, friend's that we really categorize as family, and friend's from my old work. With youth group we play Dirty Santa and played games. We also played Dirty Santa with my friend's from work. We also had a cookie swap where we shared cookies and recipes and the winner got a prize. I didn't win with my Oreo balls. We exchanged families for gifts with our "family" friends. We used to draw names where the guys got the guys and gift and the women got the women a gift, and we all bought for the kids. Well...kids keep joining the families and so this year we bought family gifts and had a dinner. We always enjoy these Christmas parties and it is a good reason to get together and catch up on each other's lives.

Johnny's work decided to do an ugly sweater day, and thanks to Janie, Johnny had a fabulously ugly one (it was really a woman's). That day he and some friends went to McAlister's for lunch and they seen the "Real Santa!!!" eating lunch. Richard really had the ugliest sweater ever made, and becuase he is such a big fan Santa let him have his picture taken with him.

My friend Tressa, AKA Peech, invited us over to see her 5 week old Golden Retriever pups. We went over with Karen (Kurn) and Shelley (all TSD freinds). They were so cute and had the sweet puppy breath. I hadn't played with a puppy in a long time. However, I was not tempted to get one! They kissed on Kenzie, but she didn't mind. They also loved on Veda who wasn't thrilled about it the whole time, but then layed in the floor with them.

We had a playdate and Jeremy and Ariaun's house. Emily, Julia, Rachelle, Ariaun, Aiden, Natallie, Kenzie and myself enjoyed a few hours of playing and chatting.

My friend Victoria, AKA: Vickers, had her baby exactly 3 months after Kenz. Vickers and I graduated UT together and taught together at TSD. We were so excited to finally meet Addison Rose on July 12. When Addison was about a week old we went over to take some "squishy" pictures of her. Placing Kenzie next to her really showed how much she has grown. There was only a 2 ounce differece between the two at birth.

We got together at Jermemy and Ariuan's house so we could all see each other and catch up. Kenny, Tracy, Boone, Boyett and Brown (Tracy, Boone and Boyett had just gotten back from China), Rachelle, Emily and Julia, and Jeremay, Ariaun, Aiden and Natallie, Johnny, Kenz and me. We ate pizza and the kids played in the pool, sand, and yard. Tracy shared about the China trip.

In late June my friends from school got together for a play date. The kids played in the pool and rolled around on the floor when cooling off in the air conditioned room. We went to Catie's mother-in-laws house to play. We ate lunch together and enjoyed loving on each other's kiddos and chattng with one another. Catie, Catie's mother-in-law Cindy, Karen, Vickers, Vicker's mom Sarah, Tressa, Daniel, and myslef and of course all the kiddos. Eddie, Veda, Emma, and McKenzie. Addison was still baking!
